Sautéed Pear & Blue Cheese Flatbread
Unsalted Original, Super Blue
1 ripened pear, peeled and diced
⅓ cup walnuts
2 tablespoons of Unsalted Nuts For Butter
¼ tsp coriander
¼ tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp chili oil
1 wedge Nuts For Cheese Super Blue
Basil leaves, minced
Preheat oven to 425°.
Peel and dice one ripened pear. Chop walnuts and set aside.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium low heat.
Add the diced pears to the pan. Season pears with coriander and nutmeg over low heat.
Cook the pears until they are softened and caramelized, about 8-12 minutes.
To build the flatbread, layer the the chili oil, sauteed pears, Nuts For Cheese Super Blue crumbles and walnuts.
Bake 10-15 minutes or until crispy.
Remove from the oven and top with fresh arugula, basil and balsamic drizzle and enjoy!
